2. Verify You Meet Requirements

Minimum GPA Requirement = 2.75

You must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally‐accredited institution of higher learning.

3. Register For and Pass TExES Exam

Prior to program application, you must pass the TExES exam for the appropriate content/grade level of your desired certificate.  Strong Teachers Day One admits only candidates who want to teach at the middle school or secondary school level.

You will take the exam prior to admission, so you will register as PACT (Pre Admission Content Test).  Please see below for information on how to register.

4. Program Application & Fee

Complete the Online Application and mail your official transcript, resume, and a copy of the TExES exam scores. Click below to pay the application fee

5. Program Admission

If you are approved for the program, you will meet with the certification advisor to review program requirements and sign documents accepting admission to the program.
